Weather Conditions: Very light snow flurries, 6 degrees Celsius and a little windy.
Time of Visit: 1:30 pm

Conditions of the Stream: Lots of bubbles along the top of the water. The team speculates that this could be due to pollution from upstream or just bubbles that have formed when oxygen enters the stream as it crosses from sub-critical to super-critical flow. The stream also seems relatively low, with respect to the soils that have been eroded by a much higher flow.

The stage behind the weir was approximately 36.5 cm (1.198 ft). This would lead the team to estimate the flow to be 7.35 cfs.

The quality of the stream did not seem to be affected by sediment from excessive runoff or pollution. The turbidity was very low; the stream was clear.

There was a Styrofoam cup sitting next to the stream, and since has been removed by the Hydrology Team!
