Tuesday 2/16/16 - Stream Observations

Date: 02/16/16
Time: 12:20 pm

Weather Conditions: Overcast, 38 degrees F, large snow fall event yesterday (~ 8 inches)

Water Quality Observations:
- Very turbid conditions
- Sediment and debris in the creek
- Weir was not controlling the flow. Water was completely over top of it.



Stage Behind Weir: reading: 55 cm, actual height: 76 cm

Estimated Flow: 14.8 cfs

Misc. Observations:
- 4" of wet, melting snow on the ground
- Water flowing out of the storm drain outfall into the stream
- Most likely high salt content from road runoff


Very Turbid (cloudy) water

Water is flowing over the wier
