Weather Conditions
- Exceptionally clear and sunny with a light breeze.
- Ambient temperature was approximately 81 °F.
- No precipitation observed throughout the day.
Water Quality Observations
- Stream was clear with very low turbidity.
- Trash and brush were partially obstructing the channel downstream of the monitoring equipment, but before the Duck Pond.
Stream Stage
- Water level was at the 10-cm mark on the measuring stick inside the culvert. The approximate stage behind the weir was 31 cm (1.02 ft).
Stream Discharge
- From the stage observations, the estimated flow rate was 4.6 cfs.
Other Observations
- Both storm sewer outfalls near the LEWAS station were dry.
- A female duck seemed to enjoy the presence of the monitoring team while she searched for food and explored the inside of the culvert.
LEWAS Data
- Peak water temperature appears to be increasing in response to the increasing ambient temperature.
- Recent drop in flow rate might be attributable to increased temperatures and evaporation.
